Bread dahi vada is an instant snack which can be served as a starter or an appetizer when you have surprise guests and satiate them in return for an applause.Unlike the dahi vada prepared out of lentil, where there is a process of soaking, grinding and then frying, here, no such laborious process is evolved. All you require is fresh bread and dahi ( curds ) and top it with spices to enjoy this cool snack.
The method is very simple and requires only 10 minutes to prepare and another 5 minutes to serve it.

How To Prepare Instant Bread Dahi Vada.
The method is very simple and requires only 10 minutes to prepare and another 5 minutes to serve it.
Ingredients For Instant Bread Dahi Vada.
- Fresh Bread - 4.
- Curds ( dahi ) - 1 / 2 cup.
- Pudina Chutney ( Mint Chutney ) - 1 tbsp.
- Chaat Masala - 1 / 2 tsp.
- Jeera powder ( cumin powder ) - 1 / 2 tsp.
- Salt - 1 / 2 tsp.
- Red chilli powder - 1 / 4 tsp.
- Boondi ( mixture ) - For decoration.
- Sugar - a pinch
Method To Make Bread Dahi Vada.
- Chop the brown crusts of the bread.
- Dip the bread slices in a water for a second and remove it.
- Squeeze the bread and remove the excess water and form a ball by pressing it firmly.
- Make a dent in the bread ball and fill it with 1 / 2 tsp of pudina chutney, close it and once again shape it into a ball.
- Take a bowl.
- Add curds to it.
- Now add salt and a pinch of sugar and stir well.
For serving the bread dahi vada.
- Take a bowl.
- Place the bread balls in it.
- Pour 1 / 2 cup of curds over it.
- Now sprinkle chaat masala powder, jeera powder and red chilli powder all over it.
- Finally sprinkle kara boondi over it.
Your delicious and lip smacking Instant Bread Dahi Vada is ready to be served !!!.
Kitchen Masti Points.
- You can add 1 tsp of tamarind chutney over the bread balls but since my family does not prefer it I have not added here.
- You can make a mixture of grated paneeer and pudina chutney for the stuffing for a unique taste.
- See to it that the curd is not sour in taste.
