Instant Wheat Flour Dosa, Godhi / Godhuma pancake

Wheat flour dosa is the easiest of the dosa varities which can be instantly prepared unlike other dosas where in,  you would have to soak and grind. It is indeed very nutritious and the health conscious people need not worry about calorie count. All that is required to prepare this dosa is some wheat and small rava / semolina ( chiroti rava ) along with some green chillies to make it spicy.

How To Prepare Godhi / Godhuma / Wheat Flour Instant Dosa.



The time required to prepare this dosa is around 15 minutes and the quantity mentioned here is enough for 3 servings.


Ingredients For Wheat Flour Dosa .


  • Wheat flour - 1 cup.
  • Chiroti rava / Semolina - 1 / 4 cup.
  • Butter milk - 1 tbsp.
  • Sugar - 1 tsp.
  • Salt - as required.
  • Green chillis - 3.
  • Onion - 1.
  • Coriander leaves - 2 sprigs.
  • Oil - for drizzling.
  • Coconut scrapings - 2 tbsp.
  • Water - for mixing ( around 1 and 1 / 2 cup ).
  • Carrot - 1.

Method To Make Wheat Flour Dosa .


  • Take a big mixing bowl.
  • Add wheat flour, chiroti rava, salt, butter milk, and sugar.
  • Now add chopped onions, green chillis, coriander leaves, coconut scrapings and grated carrot.
  • Add required quantity of water to mix. The batter should be in a flowing consistency.
  • Meanwhile heat a tawa or a skillet.
  • Drizzle a tsp of oil all over the tawa.
  • Now splash a ladle full of batter on the tawa in a circular motion to cover the tawa.
  • Close the lid for around 2 minutes.
  • Spread 1 tsp of oil on the dosa and flip it on to the other side.
  • Roast the dosa for another minute in a medium flame and transfer the dosa on to the serving plate.

Your healthy and instant wheat flour dosa is ready to be served.!!!!!!!.

Kitchen Masti Points.


  1. Instead of small semolina, you can replace it with rice flour also. The intention of adding this ingredient is to make the dosa crispy and also,  it can be easily removed from the skillet.
  2. You can replace grated carrots with grated radish.
  3. Onion chutney and coconut chutney goes on well with this dosa.
  4. Kids would love this with simple tomato sauce also.
  5. A dollop of butter can be topped over the dosa for a yummy taste if you are not calorie conscious.:-)
  6. Buttermilk is optional.
