Spinach Stuffed Chapathi Rolls Recipe

This stuffed chapathi rolls is a complete combo meal filled with cheese, sweet corn niblets, palak which will be loved both by young and adults. This chapathi is incorporated with fiber, iron, calcium which acts as a source of energy. Here you have to prepare white sauce and spices along with other vegetables. You will have to prepare simple chapathi for this which I have published in one of my previous blog posts. The recipe for the stuffing goes like this.

How To Prepare Stuffed Chapathi Rolls.

The ingredients mentioned here is enough for 3 stuffings and the time taken to prepare this stuffing is around 10 minutes.

Ingredients For Stuffed chapathi.


  • Palak leaves ( spinach leaves ) - 1 small bunch.
  • Sweet Corn - 1 / 4 cup.
  • Green chillis - 1.
  • Pepper powder - 1 / 2 tsp.
  • Salt - as required.
  • Milk - 1 cup.
  • All purpose flour ( maida ) - 2 tbsp.
  • Processed cheese - 2 cubes.
  • Butter - 1 tbsp.
  • Chopped garlic - 2 cloves.

Method To Make The Palak ( Spinach ) stuffing.

Palak ( Spinach ) stuffing
  • All you have to do is first prepare the white sauce.
  • For this you have to heat a pan with butter in it.
  • Once the butter melts, add the chopped garlic and fry it in a medium flame.
  • Add maida ( all purpose flour )  into it and fry for around a minute.
  • Now add the milk and stir it well so that no lumps are formed.
  • Add salt, green chilli and pepper powder into it and mix well.
  • Meanwhile heat another pan or a vessel and add 1 / 2 cup of water into it.
  • Add the palak leaves and sweet corn into it and allow it to boil for around 5 minutes.
  • Sieve the vegetables from the water in a strainer and slightly mash the palak leaves with a ladle or you can even roughly chop it and transfer it to the white sauce pan.
  • Mix  it well.
  • Finally add the processed cheese and allow it to simmer for around 3 minutes till the cheese melts.
  • Your creamy and yummy palak stuffing is ready.
  • Now take an ordinary chapathi on a plate.
  • Smear the whole chapathi with the creamy vegetable stuffing and roll .

  1. You can increase the amount of cheese if you want a more richer taste.
  2. This stuffing should be thick, so, be careful while adding milk.
  3. In case the white sauce turns out to be very watery, do not panic,.fry a little maida in a pan and mix it to the white sauce.
  4. You can increase the chillis and pepper accordingly.
