Who does not love this rich and creamy chocolate cake ? I have been a chocolate lover all my life and today I am taking this opportunity to publish this yummy chocolate cake. I have published the recipe for chocolate frosting also but you if do not wish to spread the chocolate layer, then simply ignore and serve the simple chocolate cake. It goes on well during birthday parties, or any other occasions.
I have not added Eggs to this recipe at all but still, the cake came out pretty much similar to those cakes that had egg in it.

Here goes the Eggless Chocolate Cake Recipe.
How To Prepare Eggless Chocolate cake.
The ingredients mentioned here yields around 1 1 / 2 kg and the time required for preparing the batter is around 10 minutes and around 35 minutes for baking it.Ingredients For The Eggless Chocolate Cake.
- Maida ( all purpose flour ) - 3 cups.
- Sugar - 2 cups.
- Cocoa powder - 6 tbsp.
- Salt - 1 / 2 tsp.
- Baking powder - 2 tsp.
- Oil - 1 / 2 cup.
- Milk - 2 1 / 2 cup.
- Vinegar - 2 tbsp.
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.
Method To Make Egg less chocolate cake.
- Sieve all the dry ingredients twice.
- Take a big bowl and add all the wet ingredients like oil, vinegar, milk and whisk it well.
- Now add sugar and beat it with an electric beater.
- Slowly fold in the sieved ingredients and mix it in cut and fold method.
- Finally when you are about to bake the cake, add the lemon juice and mix well.
- Meanwhile pre - heat the microwave for around 10 minutes.
- Grease a cake mould and dust it with little maida ( all purpose flour).
- Gently transfer the cake mixture into that cake tin and tap the tin once.
- Finally it's ready to bake and bake it at 180 degree for 35 minutes.
- Allow it to cool for sometime.
- Demould the cake in to a big tray or a plate.
Ingredients for chocolate frosting.
- Dark chocolate scrapped - 1 / 3 cup.
- Butter - 1 / 4 cup.
- Milk - 1 / 6 cup.
- Sugar - 1 Tsp.
- Vanilla essence - 1 / 2 tbsp.
Method For Frosting.
- Melt the butter and cocoa powder.
- Add sugar, vanilla and milk into it and see to it that you stir it well.
- Prepare a spreading consistency.
- Spread this chocolate mixture over the cake.
Your rich and yummy chocolate cake is ready .!!!
Kitchen Masti Points
- Preheating the oven is very important or else your cake might turn hard.
- You can insert a toothpick in order to ensure that the cake has been well baked before removing it from the oven.
- The cake batter should not be too thick..
- You can use either cocoa powder or dark chocolate for the frosting.
- Instead of cake frosting, you can also sprinkle icing sugar over the cake.
- You can decorate it with some colorful edible gems or anything that you prefer.
- Instead of maida ( all purpose flour), you can use cake flour which is now available in all super markets.
