Bruschetta Recipe

Bruschetta is mainly an Italian cuisine and prepared out of baguette bread or french loaf. It serves as an excellent starter and the appearance itself is mouthwatering. Here in this recipe, I have used french loaf and you have to cut it either in oval or round shape. It is a kids friendly recipe and tastes great indeed.

How To Prepare Bruschetta.


The time required to prepare this recipe is only around 15 minutes and around 12 pieces can be prepared out of 1 French loaf.

Ingredients For Bruschetta



  • Baguette bread  / French loaf - 1.
  • Small tomatoes ( cherry tomatoes ) - 10
  • Onion - 1
  • Balsamic vinegar - 1 tbsp.
  • Salt - As required.
  • Garlic - 8 cloves.
  • Basil leaves - 6.
  • Oregano - 1 tbsp.
  • Pepper Powder - 1 tbsp.
  • Red chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp.
  • Extra Virgin Olive oil - 1 1 / 2 tbsp.


Method To Make Bruschetta.


  • Cut the french loaf in oval shaped pieces.
  • Chop 2 garlic cloves into fine pieces and mix it with 1 / 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil in a small bowl.
  • Now rub this garlic pieces all over the bread.
  • Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees for around 3 to 4 minutes and grill the bread pieces.
  • Take a big mixing bowl and add the chopped cherry tomatoes, onions, basil leaves to it.
  • Add balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper powder, oregano, red chilli flakes. garlic pieces and olive oil into it .
  • Toss well.
  • Spoon this mixture over the bread pieces.

Your sumptuous and excellent bruschetta is ready to be served.!!!

Kitchen Masti Points.


  1. You can replace basil leaves with coriander leaves for a different taste.
  2. Instead of cherry tomatoes you can use de - seeded normal ordinary tomatoes.
  3. Yellow cherry tomatoes can also be added along with red tomatoes.
  4. Chop the cherry tomatoes into quarter pieces
