Black Forest Miniature Recipe

Desserts are excellent to relish after an exotic heavy meal. I think, dark forest cake is known to one and all and the recipe which I am going to share today is closely associated to it. Yes, it is known as black forest miniatures. I saw this recipe on a TV channel and was very much inspired by it. I experimented it in my kitchen and the result is simply superb and yummy. So here goes the recipe.

How To Prepare Black Forest Miniatures.

This is as simple as a child's play and the time taken to prepare this is around 10 minutes.

Ingredients For Black Forest Miniature.


  • Chocolate cake - 10 pieces.
  • Dark chocolate - 1 cup.
  • Fresh cream - 1 / 4 cup.
  • Whipping cream - 1 / 4 cup.
  • Sugar syrup - 2 tbsp.
  • Cherries - For decoration

Method To Make Black Forest Miniatures


  • Transfer the fresh cream into a bowl and heat it.
  • Meanwhile, take another bowl and add the  scrapped dark chocolate pieces to it.
  • Transfer the hot fresh cream into the dark chocolate and mix it well with a spoon till it dissolves completely. See to it that there are no lumps left.
  • When the mixture cools down add the whipping cream to it.
  • Mix well.
  • Chop the chocolate cake into small round shaped disks.
  • Now to serve the black forest miniature you have to take small short glasses.
  • Pipe the glass with 1 tbsp of dark chocolate mixture using a whipping bag or a tube.
  • Now arrange 1 small piece of chocolate cake above it.
  • Spread 2 tsp of sugar syrup so that the chocolate cake gets soaked in it.
  • Sprinkle some chopped cherries over it. Repeat the process till it reaches the brim.
  • Now decorate it with the whipped cream through a whipping bag.
  • Finally decorate with chopped cherries and a little chocolate scrapings.

Your rich and tasty black forest miniatures are ready to be served.!!!

  1. If you find the chocolate mixture a little watery, then thicken it with a little dark chocolate scrapings.
  2. It tastes best when served cold.
  3. In case if you do not have sweet whipping cream, then add a little sugar to the whipping cream and whip it to get the required consistency.
