Tomato Dosa is another breakfast item which looks quite colorful and of course tasty too. The batter is almost like that of neer dosa but here you have to add tomatoes while grinding the batter. Since you are adding tomatoes in this recipe, this dosa becomes a combination of both carbohydrate and a vegetable which makes it a more healthier option.

How To Prepare Tomato Dosa .
This dosa requires around 1 hour for soaking, 10 minutes for grinding and 5 minutes for cooking. The ingredients mentioned here is enough for 3 servings.Ingredients For Tomato Pancake.
- Raw Rice ( Dosa Rice ) - 1 cup.
- Ripe Tomatoes - 2 big ones.
- Salt - as required.
- Chili powder - 1 tbsp.
- Oil - for greasing.
- Ghee - for garnishing.
Method To Make Tomato Dosa .
- Wash and soak the rice for around 1 hour.
- Now grind this rice and tomatoes in a mixer jar or a grinder to a smooth batter by adding water at regular intervals.
- Add salt and chili powder.
- Mix well.
- Heat a nonstick pan or a dosa pan, and grease it with 1 / 2 tsp of oil. Splash the batter all over the pan and cover it with a lid.
- Remove the lid after 1 minute and transfer it to the serving plate.
Your spicy and tangy tomato dosa is ready to be served.!!!

- See to it that tomatoes are fully riped ones.
- You can add chili powder as per your taste.
- The batter should be very watery.
- 1 / 2 cup of warm water can be added to the batter to attain a softer dosas .
- This dosa can be eaten along with coconut chutney.
