Usually most of the times, chutneys are prepared out of raw mangoes but the one that I am going to show now is prepared out of the sweet mango. It is a south Indian variety and this goes on well with dosa specially neer dosa and you can eat it along with rice also. Now, currently as the mango season is prevailing, you can prepare it in any time.
Your spicy hot and sweet mango chutney is ready to be served.!!!

How To Prepare Sweet Mango Chutney.
This is one of the simplest recipe and needs very little of your time. Roughly it takes around 10 minutes to prepare and the quantity mentioned here is enough for 2 servings.Ingredients For Sweet Mango Chutney.
- Ripe Mango - 1 big sized.
- Green chilli - 4.
- Salt - as required.
- Asafoetida - a small pinch.
- Coriander leaves - 2 sprigs.
For Tadka.
- Broken red chilli ( byadige ) - 1.
- Urad dal ( black gram dal ) - 1 tsp.
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp.
- Curry leaves - 2 strings
- Coconut oil - 1 tbsp.
Method To Make Ripe Mango Chutney.
- Take a big mixing bowl.
- Wash the mango thoroughly and cut into 3 or 4 pieces.
- Squeeze the mango in the bowl and discard the seed.
- Mash the ripe mango once again till it attains a smooth consistency.
- Now add chopped green chillis, salt, asafoetida and chopped coriander leaves.
- Add water, only if the pulp is too thick.
- Heat a small pan for tadka.
- Add coconut oil, broken red chilli, mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves to it.
- Once it starts spluttering transfer the tadka into the chutney bowl.
Your spicy hot and sweet mango chutney is ready to be served.!!!
Kitchen Masti Points.
- While selecting the ripe mango, it is best to opt for the raspuri type ones.
- In case the if the mango is a bit sour, you can add 1 tsp of jaggery but it is entirely optional.
- Green chilli can be increased or decreased according to your taste and preference.
- You can preserve this chutney in the fridge for around 2 days and use it.
