Veg Sandwich Recipe

Veg sandwich is a well known snack and loved by many people. You can have it either as a morning or evening snack. It is very simple to prepare. Sandwiches can be prepared in 2 ways - plain or grilled. Here, I have shown the grilled version.

How To Prepare Vegetable Sandwich.

If you have pudina chutney ( Mint Chutney ) ready in hand then you can prepare this in 10 minutes.

Ingredients For Veg Sandwich.


  • Sandwich Bread - 4.
  • Capsicum  - 1 small sized.
  • Butter - 2 tbsp.
  • Salt - A Pinch.
  • Grated Cheese - 3 tbsp.
  • Onion - 1 Small sized.
  • Cucumber - 2 slices.
  • Tomato - 2 Slices
  • Pepper - 1/2 tsp.
  • Chat Masala - 1/2 tsp


Method To Make Veg Sandwich.


  • First and foremost, wash the vegetables thoroughly.
  • Scrap the cucumber and cut it in to round disk shape.
  • Slice the tomatoes into round shape.
  • Chop capsicum and onion into very small pieces.
  • Pre heat the sandwich maker for a few seconds.
  • Smear butter lavishly over the bread.
  • Now on one side of the bread, spread the pudina chutney.
  • Place one slice of cucumber and tomato on the bread.
  • Sprinkle capsicum and onion pieces over it.
  • Sprinkle pepper powder, salt, chat Masala over it and spread grated cheese all over the slice.
  • Now take another bread smeared with pudina chutney on it and cover the bread slice filled with vegetables 
  • Grill it for a few minutes until it gets roasted.

Your spicy Veg sandwich is ready to be served.!!!

  1. Grilling is optional. You can serve the sandwich without roasting too.
  2. Chat Masala is optional too.
  3. If you are health conscious, then you can use brown bread instead of sandwich breads.
  4. Filter Coffee is a nice combination along with this snack
