Stuffed mushroom is a spicy starter and looks very attractive in parties. It is very easy to prepare and hardly takes a few minutes to cook. You can prepare this dish with a variety of stuffings like palak ( spinach), corn , cheese and the non vegetarians can have their own stuffs. Here, I have prepared this dish in Chinese style using paneer ( Cottage Cheese ).

How To Prepare Stuffed Mushrooms.
It takes only around 15 minutes to prepare it .Ingredients For Stuffed Mushrooms.
- Button Mushrooms - 8.
- Onions - 2.
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp.
- Chilli sauce - 1 tsp.
- Salt - as per taste.
- Crumbled Paneer ( Cottage Cheese ) - 3 tbsp.
- Soya sauce - 1 tsp
- Corn flour - 1 tbsp
- Mozzarella cheese - 2 tbsp
Method To Make Stuffed Mushroom
- Clean the mushrooms by immersing them in hot water and add a little salt to it. Let it stay aside for few minutes.
- Now remove it from the water and dry it.
- Remove only the stalk of it and see to it that the mushrooms are not damaged.
- Now chop the stalks and onions into fine pieces.
- Now, lets prepare the mushroom stuffing.
- Heat a pan.
- Add 1 tbsp of oil into it.
- Now add ginger garlic paste, mushroom stalks, onions and saute for few minutes.
- Add red chilli powder, salt, Soya sauce, chilli sauce and crumbled paneer ( cottage cheese ) into it and mix well.
- Fill the mushrooms with the above prepared stuffing and press well.
- In the mean time, mix one tbsp of corn flour along with two - three tbsp of water and form a watery solution .
- Heat another pan with 2 tsp of oil.
- Now, dip the stuffed mushroom in the corn flour solution and place it on the pan.
- After a few seconds, flip it to the other side and cook for another 3 - 4 minutes.
- Now transfer this stuffed mushroom on to a serving plate.
- Decorate with grated Mozzarella cheese over the stuffed mushrooms.
Your spicy and yummy stuffed mushroom is now ready to be served.!!!
Kitchen Masti Points
- Paneer ( Cottage Cheese ) is optional.
- Instead of red chilli powder, you can also use slit green chilli for a more spicier taste.
