Corn roll is one of the yummiest and the spiciest dish which I have ever eaten. However, you can adjust the spiciness according to your preference. It is a unique starter which goes on well in all parties. You can prepare this roll in advance, refrigerate it and later on deep fry it whenever required. You will have to use American sweet corn for this recipe.

How To Prepare Corn Rolls
This dish requires around forty minutes to prepare.Ingredients For Corn Rolls
- Potatoes - 5
- American sweet corn - half kg
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Green chillies - 2
- Coriander leaves - 3 to 4 sprigs
- Mint leaves ( Pudina )- a few
- Salt - as per taste
- Chat Masala - 1 tsp
- Onions - 2 small sized
- Garam Masala powder - half tsp
- Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
- Corn flour - 1 tsp ( optional )
- Oil - for deep frying
Method To Make Corn Rolls
- First and foremost, boil the potatoes in the cooker until three whistles or you can even microwave it.
- Grind three-forth of the sweet corn into a coarse mixture.
- Take a mixing bowl.
- Add the coarsely grounded corn mixture in to it.
- Now add the remaining corn also, into this bowl.
- Smash the boiled potatoes and mix with the corn mixture.
- Also, add the other ingredients like chopped green chillies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, onions, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, chat masala powder, ginger garlic paste and corn flour into the mixing bowl.
- Mix all these ingredients very well.
- If the mixture is too sticky, add some more corn flour.
- Now, roll out medium sized balls from the potato mixture and shape them in to cylindrical structure.
- Heat a deep shaped pan ( kadai ) with oil in it and deep fry these rolls in medium flame until it is golden brown in color.
- Transfer these corn rolls on absorbent tissue papers.
Now your spicy and yummy corn rolls are ready to be served.!!!
