Red chutney or garlic chutney is the best combination for akki rotti, aloo paratha and even you can use it as sandwich spread. As it contains both coconut and garlic. this chutney helps a lot in digestion. It is very easy to prepare and very tasty and spicy also. Garlic is being consumed almost in all parts of the world. It is low in calories.Suppose, if you have high cholesterol then consumption of garlic will help to lower it. It helps to decrease the  LDL level and increase the HDL level. It has anti cancer properties. Another ingredient, coconut, which is used in this recipe is helpful in reducing the sugar level. I have shown here two varieties of red chutney where one can be preserved and another one cannot be preserved.
