Watermelon Juice Recipe

We all know that there are various types of drinks out there to quench your thirst during summer days to keep us cool. Several types of juices and other drinks are flooded in the markets but from the health point of view , fruit drinks should be the most preferred option. When you think of summer, the first thought which strikes your mind regarding fruit juices  is probably water melon juice.

Watermelon has a soothing effect on our body. It is rich in water content - approximately around 90 %. And lots of vitamin C also. The seeds of the water melon has many healing properties and very effective in removing skin blemishes. The rind of the water melon can be used to prepare the dry salads, sabzis, etc. In totality, all the parts of the water melon are very helpful. However, the only negative aspect of it is that it as a high glycemic  index value which is not that great for the diabetic people. one of the most important reason why the water melon is used in summer season is because of the anti oxidants present in it .It mainly cuts the risk of sun related diseases. It also helps in weight reduction also.

How To Prepare Water Melon Juice At Home

This yummy drink hardly takes around 10 minutes of your time.


Watermelon Juice Ingredients

  • Water Melon Pieces - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 2 tsp
  • Pepper - 3 nos
  • Salt - A pinch

Method To Prepare Water Melon Juice

  • Place all of the above ingredients in the juicer jar and run the mixer till it is fully blended
  • Sieve it into a jar.
  • Serve it cool

Your watermelon drink is now ready to be served. !!!

  1. Before preparing the juice, place the water melon pieces in the refrigerator for around half and hour to get the best results of the fruit.
  2. For decoration , you can also use the mint leaves.
  3. If you desire a spicy water melon, you can add more of pepper powder in it.
